About

I believe everyone is born with a cute bone. "What is a cute bone?" you ask. Let me explain--

Most people know that when something “tickles your funny bone” it makes you laugh. Well, when something “tickles your cute bone”, you go “aww”, and you feel lighter, brighter, and altogether happier inside. Basically, a cute bone is your sense of wonder and happiness, like how a funny bone is your sense of humor.

My Story

Hello, I’m Rosalie, but you may know me be better as Lavender Sprinkles (aka Lav) which is the alias I prefer to go by

When I was a child, I adored cute things and was all about being a girly girl. As I grew older, cute things helped me to remember to hold on tight to happiness. My love of cuteness was more than just loving pastel colors and miniaturized versions of bigger things; it was about seeing joy in the world around me and being positive even if life got tough.

I grew up inside a scrapbook store, so I’ve been around cute things since I was very little. There were always pretty papers, ribbons, stickers, and embellishments to look at and create with. I was using grown up scissors before I could properly hold them and by the time I was in my early teens I had, besides scrapbooking, tried sewing, jewelry-making, art, origami--you name it, I probably experimented with it.

My cute bone was very particular and I had trouble finding what I liked in the common market, so I loved that I was able to make my own cute things that made me happy. I started documenting my projects and creative journey with a blog about crafts and Japanese street fashion (which has since been deactivated) and that's where Miss Sprinkles Creates and the idea of tickling your cute bone first sprouted.

My Mission

At Miss Sprinkles Creates, I want to provide hand-crafted and uniquely designed products that will be sure to tickle your cute bone. I specialize in colorful wood-burned art, art prints, and stickers that all have matching stylized designs to make you go awwww! All my items are carefully created to give you a spark of happiness in your life with lightfast pigments that don’t lose their rainbow over time.

All my cutsews are designed to be sensory-friendly using the softest materials and tagless t-shirts. Many cute clothes are just not practical to wear on a regular basis and it's even harder to find comfy options when you are an adult with autism, ADHD, or SPD. As a disabled, neurodivergent creator who cannot stand scratchy clothing because of my sensory issues, I researched alternatives on how to create fashionable items that were both comfortable and cute. In casual Lolita fashion, there is a type of clothing that is made from a stretchy knit material, but has lace, frills, and bows added to it to create a t-shirt that looks more like a blouse. Cutsews are exactly the right combination of sensory practicality and adorableness needed for those who love to look cute, but hate things that are overly fussy.

Your Action

You’ve read my story, you know what I offer. I’m here to tickle your cute bone, but I can’t do that unless you want it! Here is what you can do right now:
